for grocery store expeditions or foraging romps, however you gather food for your home, our produce bags are there to help you carry it.  produce bags work excellently for all large bulk items: potatoes, greens, apples, nuts.  and for mushroom foragers, the open mesh gives the added benefit of allowing spores to drop to the earth, furthering their growth.

we use organic cotton and flax (linen) thread for our produce bags. our flax is grown, processed and spun in-house, entirely by hand, cultivated organically on plots in northern illinois and the upper peninsula.  each bag is woven by hand on a rigid heddle loom, hand-sewn, and finished with a handspun drawstring.  8+ hours of handwork go into each produce bag.
