Description
a simple affair, the beeswax wrap consists of organic cotton muslin impregnated with beeswax – that’s it.
and it’s a great help to low waste households, being a perfect substitute for plastic wrap and ziplock bags in most applications. use to wrap cheese, bread, sandwiches, snacks, and (my favorite application) rolls of cookie dough stashed in the freezer for later.
we hand-dye our wraps with onion skins, turmeric, and other natural dyes, using resist methods (what the kids call tie-dye).
the indigo variety is hand-dyed, fair trade, in india.
